Do that, be it!

Aristotle (not to be confused with my dear learned friend Haristotle) once said, "We are what we repeatedly do." (Yes, guys, even my eyes opened wide on reading it. Just think about it - what do you repeatedly do?) If this is true, then just take a look at the implications:

  • Scientists in Britain have cloned a human embryo for the first time. So if they keep on cloning, they themselves will become clones.
  • Artists will become caricatures.
  • Bollywood will become a big flop. (Will?)
  • Poachers will become extinct.
  • Kleptomaniacs will be kidnapped, just for the heck of it.
  • Phobophobes already fulfill the statement.
  • Finally, one of our professors will become "Actually".
Till next time.

"Nuggets of Wisdom" by Haristotle:
When I was a student, I would frequently hear teachers threaten to throw students out of the window for misbehaving in class. Although I never had the misfortune of having it happen to me, or the fortune of seeing it happen to others, a few weeks back I came across a word in the OED that means exactly that.

defenestration: action of throwing (esp. person) out of a window. (defenestrate v.t.)

Words from the wise:
"What about throwing out of the door?"
